The Experience

A walk in the woods.
And a taste of the forest.

We lead small groups into the forests of the Comox Valley — the same forests we forage ourselves — and teach you to read the land, identify what's edible, and harvest with confidence.

The morning ends around a table with a meal built from what you gathered. Every participant takes home a full pound of chanterelles, guaranteed.

Your Guides

Led by people who actually do this.

Nick Hutton-Jay
Expert Forager · Mycota Foraging
Nick has spent years studying the fungi of coastal BC, leading foraging walks, and working with chefs and educators to build public understanding of wild food. He knows these forests the way most people know their neighbourhoods.
Tomer Rockman
Farmer and Forager · Stone's Throw Organics
Tomer came to farming by way of foraging. A summer spent as a forager's apprentice also brought him into the world of farming. These days he happily spends his time with one foot in the field and the other in the forest.
